The Galapagos Islands - A Year Round Destination
The Galapagos Islands are situated along
the Equator with a climate that is sub-tropical, thus
allowing cruises to depart on a year round basis. The
air and water temperature is determined almost exlusively
by the tidal currents that are in turn influenced by trade
winds. In general, December to May will be warm and sunny;
and June to November can be cool with a light breeze.
Most Galapagos birds will nest year round, enabling you
to see courtship,and mating, and chicks hatched and reared
almost any time of the year.
